A propos

“Fashion should not be a privilege”. The motto of Karim Tazi is the guidance principle of a life he has dedicated to make from his passion for fashion a successful business. Self-taught, Karim Tazi has shaped his expertise throughout his experience. At the age of 24, he launched his first textile company, dedicated to connecting local suppliers with International ordering customers. This successful business has enabled him to master all the aspects of fashion products life cycle, from the design, confection to the Retail. In 1997, in spite of the decline of the confection sector, he understood that Added Value is the crux of the matter. So he created Montepull, a B2B knitting company, with the aim to make it a Brand. In 2 years, Montepull became a leading knitwear company company in North Africa. Working with his clients planted the idea in Karim Tazi’s mind to create a Moroccan fast fashion brand. He made the bet to design, produce and sell in Morocco, fashion at low prices. This idea germinated in 2003 with the creation of Marwa. Everything, except some accessories hard to find or fabrics, was going to be designed and produced in Morocco. Rapidly, Karim Tazi won its gamble as the Moroccan Marwa, not only achieved to own its local market, but became an International brand, distributed in France, Algeria, Lebanon, Ivory Coast, Koweit, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia.
